CREDIT OFFICERS

Experience & Qualifications *Minimum 3 years of banking experience, of which 1 year should be in a credit-related role. *Full or Part qualification in Banking, Credit Management, or International Trade would be an added advantage. *Strong communication and interpersonal skills. *Good analytical skills, including the ability to understand and interpret financial statements. *Flair for marketing with an outgoing personality. Key Responsibilities *Meet new customers and provide financial solutions to their requirements (new customer acquisition). *Assist the Branch Manager in achieving annual budgeted credit targets and growth assigned to the branch. *Prepare credit proposals including financial analysis, risk analysis, and other requirements of the bank. *Liaise with the bank's credit approving authority to obtain timely approvals. *Join the Branch Manager / Relationship Manager on client visits and meetings. *Perform periodic reviews of revolving and other credit facilities on a timely basis. *Monitor the branch credit portfolio and provide solutions to customers with difficulties in repayment terms.
